About the Mix
Charleston Mix is an award-winning Bloody Mary Mix that draws inspiration from local South Carolina products and uses only the highest quality ingredients. The brand’s appeal to a young and hip group of Bloody Mary drinkers often shows its natural aptitude for phrasing thoughts in a keen and inventive way. As a start-up, the company’s founder sought an experience to appeal to the target market using informative information about the product, where to find it in a retail setting and information about becoming a distributor. Stylistically, the visuals leveraged the Mix’s newly designed brand aesthetic and intentionally brisk voice and tone.

In maintaining the heritage of its birthplace, images depicting class and sophistication were used for product marketing. The messaging is a sharp juxtaposition to the high-class visuals which, in contrast, displays the brand’s wit and humor. The homepage utilized digital versions of the brand’s first marketing campaign as an introduction to its products. A unique navigation menu is positioned below the hero and is styled to be a departure from typical website header menus, utilizing graphics and illustrartions to represent the content of the site’s interior.
